Applying for the G Suite for Education is absolutely free for any qualified interested institution.

How do I qualify for G Suite for Education?

To be eligible to apply, your institution should fall under either K-12 schools, higher-education or homeschool co-ops. 

However you do not qualify for G Suite for Education when;

  1. Your organization gets academic or operational funding from the national or local government, such as military academies and public libraries. G Suite Business might be a good option for such institutions instead. 

  2. You are a registered nonprofit organization. G Suite for Nonprofits might be a better option. 

How do I apply for the G Suite for Education?

To get signed onto G Suite for Education, K-12 schools and higher-education institutions must;

  1. Have verified not-for-profit status 

  2. Be a government-recognized, formally-accredited educational institution delivering nationally or internationally-approved certifications at primary, secondary or third level. 

Homeschools schools must be verified by a state homeschool organization.

You should have a working domain (preferably a .edu.gh domain) and website. In case you do not have this, CLOUDPORT will be more than ready to help you in that regard. 

It takes 2 weeks for the application to be processed but due to COVID 19 and its effect on the educational sector, Google has expedited this procedure.
